Do you have Chocolate Fever?
Students in Mrs. Mitchell’s 2nd grade Reading class read the novel, “Chocolate Fever” by Robert Kimmel Smith. It was a story about a boy named Henry Green who loved chocolate so much that he ate it all the time, every day! He ate it so much that he got a case of “chocolate fever”. The theme of the story was sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. At the end of the novel study, students enjoyed a yummy chocolate brownie! The class decided it would be safe for us to eat the brownie. Since we don’t get to eat chocolate in class very often, we wouldn’t be having too much of a good thing.
