Power of Our Words
Students at Greendale Elementary were treated to a fun week that started out by listening to" Ice Man" from Omega Man. He talked to students about the importance of "Good Character" and "Doing the Right Thing". Students were treated to a show where "Ice Man" bent a steel rod with his teeth and also tore a book in half with his hands. Students participated in dress up days with the theme, "Be Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn". Be a Greendale Champion! Students dressed in different colors, wore hats and bracelets throughout the week. At the end of the the week students participated in a fabulous "Vocabulary Parade", where students dressed as a "word". Students paraded around the school dressed as their word to music. Students learned about the Power of their Words! Students had a great, fun filled week!
