Our Greendale Lions showed just how big their hearts are through our PAWS Campaign!

Students brought in donations to support our local animal shelter, helping provide much-needed supplies for animals in our community. From food and treats to blankets and toys, every contribution made a difference!

We are so proud of our students for showing compassion, responsibility, and kindness to animals in need. Together, we are making our community a better place—one paw at a time!

What a sweet reward for some seriously hard work!

Our top fundraisers from the Greendale Fun Run earned the chance to throw pies at some of their favorite faculty and staff—and they did not disappoint! Laughter filled the air as students celebrated their efforts in the most hilarious way possible.

We are so proud of these students for going above and beyond to support our school. And a big THANK YOU to our good-sport staff members who stepped up (and got a little messy!) to make this such a memorable experience.

Way to go, Greendale Lions!

Today was a full-circle moment at Greendale Elementary!

We were so excited to welcome back former Greendale students—now proud soon to be graduates of Abingdon High School—who visited us in their caps and gowns. Seeing these seniors walk our halls again was a powerful reminder of how far they’ve come and the bright futures ahead of them.

Our current students loved cheering them on and giving words of encouragement. Moments like these inspire our young learners to dream big and work hard!

Our young explorers are reaching for the stars!

This week, our 3rd - 5th graders are diving into the NASA website during Library class, discovering the incredible journey of the Artemis II mission. From learning about astronauts to exploring spacecraft and lunar missions, curiosity was out of this world!

Inspired by real-life space exploration, students asked big questions, imagined new possibilities, and connected their learning to the future of human space travel. Who knows—one of our learners today could be part of tomorrow’s mission!

What an unforgettable experience for our Greendale Elementary Writing Club!

Our talented student writers recently traveled to Emory & Henry University, where they had the incredible opportunity to meet bestselling author Adriana Trigiani and hear from the amazing Kate DiCamillo! Students even got to ask questions about writing, storytelling, and what it’s like to be an author—truly inspiring moments for our young creatives.

As proud participants in The Origin Project, these students are continuing to grow as writers and will have their work published in the upcoming anthology this May!

We are so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and creativity—future authors in the making!
